School Visits
Planning your visit - It's never too early!
All school parties must be booked in advance with Gladys Cummings, our Education Administrator. She can be contacted by telephone on 01727 751820.
Alternatively, please use our Booking Enqury Form to send us an email about booking a visit. There is a link to this form on the lefthand side of this page.
Her office hours are 10.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday during school term-time only. During school holidays this office is not manned - there is only a voicemail message service.
Once a provisional booking has been confirmed, a completed booking form will be sent - the copy of which should be signed and returned to the Education Administrator to confirm the booking. No deposit is required; all charges are payable on arrival at the Museum on the day of the visit.
Please note that it is never too early to book a visit, even as far as a year ahead if you want a particular date and time! Our artefact handling sessions are extremely popular and are often almost fully booked by the end of the previous term. We also have a toybox and other objects to take out to nursery children.
