Roman Artefact Handling Sessions (Tuesday-Friday) Key Stage 3 Our ever-popular artefact handling sessions allow the children the opportunity to handle real Roman artefacts. The session is based around the theme of ‘Everyday Life in Roman Britain’.

Medieval St Albans (QCA History Unit 3) Key Stage 3 The students will examine a variety of artefacts (real and replica) to learn about life in the town at this time. This can be accompanied by a medieval Town Trail, in which the students are taken to see some medieval buildings and sites in St Albans. This includes an exciting tour of the medieval Clock Tower.

Tudor St Albans (historical enquiry) Key Stage 3 In this evidence-based session, students will have the opportunity to investigate a wide variety of primary and secondary source material related to the Tudor town of St Albans. They will use their investigative skills to analyse the sources and extract information from them, make deductions and assess the reliability and limitations of those sources.
