Admission to the Museum is free for everybody. However if you are planning to bring a group to the museum you will need to book in advance. Please contact our Education Administrator Brian Marpole for more details on 01727 751820 or use our booking enquiry form to send an email.

Museum handling sessions cost from £60 per 1 hour session for a maximum of 35 children. For more information on these please click here .

There is a general worksheet, covering all areas of the Museum, on sale in the Museum shop for 10p a copy, along with souvenirs, books, postcards, and many other items.

Car parking is available next to the Museum in a small private car park, coaches can pull up outside in Hatfield Road, or round the corner in St. Peter's Road, to drop off or collect passengers.

The Museum does not have a lunch room facility, but picnics can be eaten in the Wildlife Garden behind the Museum.
