Description

Monochrome photographic print showing View looking up Fishpool Street, St. Albans from the junction with Branch Road. The Black Lion Hotel stands on the left hand corner with a sign bearing the name of Adey and Whites, a St Albans brewery. The cottages on the far right, next door to the Blue Anchor pub, were demolished in 1935.
