St Peter's Church and green with the wooden lock-up standing on the church green. Lock ups such as this one were used in small communities to hold criminals for short periods of time, until they could be brought to justice or until they sobered up.
St Peter's Church is seen as it was prior to its restoration by Lord Grimthorpe in 1893.
