It is easy to visit what remains of the Roman city of Verulamium as part of a visit to Verulamium Museum.
Hypocaust
The hypocaust building is open during musuem opening hours and has free entry. A short way beyond this are the remains of the Roman City Walls, which stand in the park and are open at all times.
The Roman Theatre of Verulamium.
The Roman Theatre is located on the Gorehambury Estate, near Bluehouse Hill. It is just a short walk from Verulamium Museum.

Verulamium Park
The museum is set in 100 acres of parkland. A mobile phone tour of the park is currently being developed. There are many amenities in the park including children's playground, children's splash pool (summer only), tea shop, lake with wildlife, tennis and crazy golf.

Disabled Access
There is full wheelchair access to all areas of Verulamium Museum, including a lift to disabled toilets. The Roman walls and hypocaust are in the park with a path leading to them from the car park.
