There have been several major archaeological excavations of the Roman city, and Verulamium Museum displays many of the artefacts from these digs. However, with the exception of the Roman Mosaic and Hypocaust, what remains of the streets and buildings of the Roman city have been covered back over for conservation reasons. Veni Vidi Verulamium helps visitors to Verulamium to learn more about the city that once stood here, and the people who lived there.
