Exhibition: 'Medieval Graffiti: a lost art of the Middle Ages'.  Community Gallery.
Jerry Glover is curating an exhibition of thirty framed prints of medieval graffiti from around the UK.  There is also a video and artifacts from which rubbings can be taken.  A 25 page illustrated booklet explaining the background to the graffiti is available too.

Medieval graffiti is an eye-opening glimpse into the medieval world. Among the graffiti on display is the earliest artistic representation of the holy grail in Britain.

The Community Timeline includes people, events and places that you have nominated or mentioned to us in the past.  So take the opportunity, grab that paintbrush and come along! There will also be live music. 

Our topic this month is nudity: Why did an exhibition of nude male statues and art cause an outrage in Vienna last year?  What is the difference in our perception of male and female nudity in art and marketing?  Join us at 7pm for an informal chat.  This event is free.  Refreshments are available for purchase.

Come help us paint our family wardrobe at the Museum of St Albans.  You can also have a peek at the Lion under the Stairs and meet the Wicked Witch!

The Family Wardrobe will become our welcome station for families, to pick up activities to do together during their visit, or just find out what family events are coming up across our museums and sites. 

This event is free and there is no need to book.  Just drop in!
