A Piece of Court Furniture." depicting Harriet Beauclerk nee Mellon, Duchess of St Albans (1777 - 1837), first wife of William Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 9th Duke of St Albans as a moustached man in women's clothes.Text at the top of the illustration reads: "Sure thou wert form'd by all the gods in council; Who, having made a lucky hit, beyond their journey-work, Cry'd out "This is a Woman!"
