The Museums Association is an independent body that represents the interests of museums and galleries and their employees. It runs events, lobbies goverment, sets ethical standards and promotes professional development. The MA publishes two monthly magazines, the Museums Journal and Museum Practice. They also have lots of good careers advice and a list of approved postgraduate courses.
