St Albans City Trail

Explore St Albans at your own pace.

The St Albans City Trail covers a circular distance of around 3 miles and allows you to discover some of the best known areas of St Albans at you own speed. The walk will take about 1.5 - 2 hours, plus any time spent in the cathedral and museums. There are plenty of places for refreshments and shopping en route!

The trail begins at the Tourist Information Centre, which is situated in the Old Town Hall on St Peter's Street. Here you can pick up a free colour leaflet that describes how to follow the trail. The leaflet can also be provided in other formats such as large print, audio tape and braille on request.
