Saturday 20th May 2017 (10am - 4pm) at Verulamium Museum
Saturday 20th May, 10am – 4pm
In a world where ‘throw-away’ objects are mass-produced, what would motivate someone to hold onto a broken item? You can even find broken objects displayed as treasures in the museum collections. Our artist-in-residence Abi Spendlove is keen to uncover a new collection of objects, owned by visitors to the museum and hear the stories that surround them. We invite you to bring your broken objects into the museum to be recorded and documented. Abi will be joined by museum conservator Alison Foster who will be on hand to advise on the best way to prevent damage to your treasured things.
Drop in, free.
