Hack the Museum: Maps
Tuesday 2nd August 2016 Verulamium MuseumUsing conductive ink, help us to bring our historic maps to life when people touch them.
During this workshop, learn about how to edit recordings from the museum's sound collection telling the stories of St Albans and apply that sound to our giant historic floor map to make an interactive experience for our visitors. Help us to create electrical circuits and programme our map to come to life.
This day workshop is aimed at 11 - 18 year olds and runs from 10am until 2.45pm, with a break for lunch. Sessions should be booked and paid for in advance either in person at Verulamium Museum or by phone 01727 751810. Participants will need to bring their own packed lunch.
