Explore the wonderful galleries at Verulamium Museum and discover the amazing array of Roman artefacts excavated from outside the museum in Verulamium Park.

You will to find out how the population of a Roman town lived and worked, what they liked to eat and drink, their jobs and trades as well as their religious beliefs and how they spent their spare time.

Please note: as we are a very busy site we kindly ask schools to book a time slot (usually one hour) for a self-guided visit, either on its own or in conjunction with a handling session.

£3 per child | 1:1 carers and up to 5 adults per group of 32 children are entitled to free entry
