These three short illustrated talks from Dr Mark Freeman, Professor Paul Readman and Ellie Reid will tell the story of how ‘pageant fever’ took hold across Britain during the twentieth century – especially in St Albans.

Each contributor will speak for 20 minutes and there will be time for questions.

The event, along with the exhibition Pageant Fever! St Albans Performs its Past, is brought to you in association with Trestle Theatre and staged by The Redress of the Past project.
