As part of our season of events and activities inspired by our Science in St Albans exhibition, come along and be dazzled by the amazing night sky.

Visit throughout half-term and experience this immersive spectacle and learn more about the stars and planets.

Explore the season and the whole programme of five shows, or visit the individual event pages for more details as listed below.

In partnership with the University of Hertfordshire’s School of Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics.

Tickets

Due to the capacity of the planetarium everyone attending a show (including all accompanying adults) needs to purchase a ticket for the show they are attending with the children in their care. All children need to be supervised at all times. The museum reserves the right to refuse entry if the appropriate number of tickets for your group have not been purchased.  Please note that unfortunately babes in arms cannot be taken into the planetarium and the minimum age is 5 years old for attending a show.

The planetarium is an inflatable dome and when shows are taking place it is an enclosed space. Once inside the planetarium we ask that you remain seated for the duration of the show unless you need to leave for any emergency or medical reason.

If you have any access needs or any questions, please let us know: museum@stalbans.gov.uk.
