Join artist Suman Gujral in creating an installation commemorating the Partition of India on the 15 August 1947. Re-traced will be made up of paper boats made by participants in this workshop. All ages are welcome to join us!

The Partition of India, 75 years ago, led to the largest mass migration in history. Taking this as our starting point we will be making paper boats to mark refugee journeys throughout recent decades. This is a chance to think about our own family journeys and show solidarity with refugees.

The activity will take around 20-30 minutes so you can drop in between 2:00 - 3:30 to create your boats and add them to the installation.

Tickets may be available on the day but book online now to be sure of a space.

At 3:45pm Suman Gujral will also be giving a short poetry reading of some of her own works and all are welcome to join.
