From 31 July 2026, every paid admission ticket to Verulamium Museum includes an Annual Pass (for no additional cost), giving you unlimited entry for 12 months from the date of your first visit.
Whether you're exploring the Roman mosaics for the first time, returning to discover more of the collection, joining a free gallery talk, taking part in our family weekend crafts, or bringing family and friends back for another visit, your ticket now unlocks a full year of visits.
How it works
Purchase a paid admission ticket from 31 July 2026 onwards and you'll receive an Annual Pass when you visit the museum.
You will need to let our front of house team know your name and/or email address so we can issue your Annual Pass.
Your pass will be valid for 12 months from the date of visit and can be used for unlimited return visits during that period.
For example, if you purchase a ticket and visit on 31 July 2026, your pass will be valid until 31 July 2027.
Simply bring your Annual Pass with you each time you visit and show it at reception.
All paid admission tickets purchased from 31 July 2026 include the Annual Pass.

How much does the Annual Pass cost?
There is no additional cost for the Annual Pass, and it is included with every paid admission ticket purchased from 31 July 2026 onwards.
Can I use my pass for someone else?
No. Individual passes are issued in the visitor's name. Family passes (2 adults, 2 children) are issued to the named family group.
What happens if I lose my pass?
Let our front of house team know and they can check your Annual Pass on our system.
Is this the same as becoming a Friend of St Albans Museums?
No. The Annual Pass provides free return admission to Verulamium Museum for 12 months.

Do online ticket purchases qualify?
Yes. Visitors who purchase tickets online will receive their Annual Pass when they arrive at the museum. The pass expiry date will be based on the date of your visit.
Is this available for concession and Resident tickets too?
Yes, the Annual Pass will be offered for every type of paid admission ticket.
How many times can I visit?
There is no limit. You can visit as many times as you like during the 12-month validity period.

- The Verulamium Museum Annual Pass is included with the purchase of a standard admission ticket.
- The Annual Pass permits admission to Verulamium Museum for the named cardholder for 12 months from the date of the original visit.
- The pass is valid only when presented with a completed Annual Pass card and, where requested, proof of identity.
- Annual Passes are non-transferable and may only be used by the person to whom they were issued.
- When you purchase your admission ticket with Annual Pass you will be asked for a name and or email address. If you lose your Annual Pass we will check on our system and issue you with a replacement (based on the original date of entry.
- The pass is valid for general museum admission only and does not include entry to charged events, workshops or activities unless otherwise stated.
- The pass has no cash value and cannot be exchanged, refunded or sold.
- Each person (or family of 2 adults and 2 kids) will be issued an individual Annual Pass card.
- Verulamium Museum reserves the right to refuse entry if a pass is being misused or if the terms and conditions have been breached.
- The museum reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or withdraw the Annual Pass scheme at any time.
