With three original rooms available to hire, we would be delighted to cater for your business needs. From large-scale events in the Assembly Room, smaller parties in the quirky Courtroom, or face-to-face meetings in the Learning Studio, each space can be tailored to meet your requirements. Our inhouse catering team can provide refreshments of your choosing throughout the day, as required.

The Assembly Room
With its high ceilings, drop chandeliers, and a balcony that overlooks the historic city centre, the Assembly Room provides a large, bright, and airy space able to accommodate a range of corporate event needs.
Assembly Room - 2 hours with Canapés
120 guests from £6,660 (£55.50 per person)
Includes 2 hours room hire, staffing, toast and canapés (up to 6 canapés per person, see sample canapés menu for options).
Assembly Room - 5 Hours with Buffet or Seated Dinner
Based 5 hours, 6pm-11pm (ask us for a quote for alternative times).
Three-course dinner for 100 guests from £15,665 (£156.65 per person)

Buffet for 100 guests from £13,455 (£134.55 per person)

Minimum booking of 2 hours: £1,250
Additional hours (before midnight) £300 per hour

The Courtroom
The Courtroom is one of the only few remaining pre-Victorian courtrooms in the country. If you are looking to host your corporate event in a unique and quirky space, then this interesting and historic room could be the choice for you.
2 hour Courtroom with Canapés

5 hour Courtroom with Buffet or Seated Dinner
Based 5 hour event, 6pm-11pm (ask us if you'd like alternative timings):

The Learning Studio
If you are looking to engage in a face-to-face team meeting, or to address limited numbers, the Learning Studio is ideal for events such as a presentation to a small-sized audience. Fitted with a state-of-the art projector system, this space works well for talks and lectures.

Boardroom or Table Meeting or Breakout space: 20
Daytime hire (9am-5pm)
Minimum booking of 2 hours from £100. Additional hours (until 5pm) £50.
Evening hire (5pm onwards)
Minimum booking of 2 hours £200. Additional hours (before midnight) £100.
Additional hours (after midnight) £500
Events must allow for an additional 1-hour set-up / take-down either side of the booking: Before midnight from £50. After midnight £500.
All prices exclude VAT.
An extra security fee is applicable for all bookings past 5pm.
