We know that the costs associated with booking a school trip, particularly of arranging travel, prevent some schools from giving their students the opportunity to experience a museum visit.
We are very fortunate to have received funding from the Arts Council. This allows us to offer free school visits, and assistance with the cost of coach travel, to Verulamium Museum this academic year for a limited number of schools who have not previously visited.
Priority will be given to schools where more than 30% of pupils are in receipt of Pupil Premium funding.
