We are currently calling out to local St Albans people to join an African Caribbean Community History Project that will help to shape and inform a new landmark exhibition: Becoming Us: African Caribbean St Albans.
Run by Active Lifestyles, a local support group, the project aims to capture stories from the African Caribbean community in St Albans and the wider District. Items and oral histories recorded will look to be included in Becoming Us, which will explore the role and contributions of the African Caribbean community in St Albans city.
Details of the events are as follows - if you're planning to come along please bring photographs and or memorabilia along with you because we would love to capture your memories.
