The artwork titled "The Threshold of Silent Warnings" prominently features the clock tower door surrounded by the iconic stones of the clock tower, with hidden skulls and a vine of red roses climbing up the left side.

To me, the red rose is a symbol of love and admiration; its ascent up the door symbolizes the growing appreciation that visitors and residents of St Albans have for the door and its historical significance in our city. The concealed skulls embedded within the wall represent my artistic style, which often combines themes of life and death. Skulls are my most frequently used symbolism to depict this theme. Additionally, they signify the passage of time and suggest that the message held by the door has implications. Their hidden placement within the wall conveys a sense of mystery and a veiled history.

These elements together evoke notions of beauty, boundaries, silent warnings, and the balance between life and death, capturing the essence of my art. The inscription serves as a moral anchor, calling for respect for the natural order and recognition that both life and death must be approached with care and mindfulness.

This interplay between the two forces implies that the door is not merely a passage but a symbol of life's fragility and death's quiet dominance, urging those who encounter it to proceed with caution, acknowledging both the vibrancy of life and the inevitability of death.
