A day spent working with professional artist, Jane Glynn,  and using different drawing techniques to draw orchids from life. We'll be using materials ranging from pencils through to watercolour, wax resist and collage to explore our own response to real orchids, with reference to St Albans history of being the world centre of orchid cultivation in the late 19th century.

Participants will leave with concertina books and larger orchid drawings in a variety of media, as well as new knowledge, skills and ways of looking.
