Some of the free crafts coming up this month

Mask making

What do you think the Romans looked like? Decorate a paper mask to wear around the museum!

Helmet for a Roman soldier

A Roman soldier's helmet was made from metal and would have been very heavy. Make our paper version to wear as you explore Verulamium.

Be a mosaicist!

The mosaics of Verulamium would have taken a long time to put together. Have a go at making your own smaller paper versions to take away with you.

Gladiator arena

Have fun with colour and detail as you recreate a Roman Gladiatorial arena. Once you're done, stage an epic performance for your family!
