Immerse yourself in the traditional art of Turkish marbling and discover the beauty of creating on water. In this workshop, artist Dilara Karaagac, who has twenty years of experience, will guide you through two essential forms of Ebru — the battal pattern, which forms the foundation of all marbling designs, and floral motifs inspired by nature.
You will experience the authentic process using traditional tools and natural materials that have been followed for centuries, learning how to float paints on water, control their flow, and shape them into delicate flowers. Each participant will create their own original marbled artworks to take home.
No previous experience is needed — just curiosity and a love for colours, water, and art.
