Join us for a fun family-friendly Sunday craft afternoon!
Different craft activities each week and perfect for families with kids aged 5 to 11.
Payment is required for each participating child who must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Maximum 12 participants per session. Bookable in advance. Tickets £6.50 per participant.
Craft themes are linked to the museum collections and current exhibitions, and are likely to be as follows:
On Sunday 6th September Sunday Crafternoon will be taking place in the Assembly Room alongside Herts Open Studios with a free drop-in craft activity. No booking for this one-off event.
13th September - papercraft accessories: have a look at our new exhibition Accessories and create your own from craft resources
26th September - clay: take ideas from around the museum or come with your own to create your clay model
27th September - mixed media crafts: make a crown or hennin, designing your own historic headwear
