What is the Community History Network?
Supported by St Albans Museums, the Community History Network aims to connect, assist and inspire those working on uncovering and sharing diverse local histories.
The network is a group of local residents who are either currently researching their family heritage or local histories, or who are interested in learning more.
No previous research experience required – all are welcome.
What will I get out of becoming a member?
Being a Community History Network member will provide you with opportunities to:
- learn new research skills
- connect with a warm and diverse audience of likeminded local researchers
- be inspired by work shared both by other individual members, and by other heritage organisations
- share your own findings and experiences via blog posts (all year round) or research presentations at our annual network events
- hear about opportunities for community collaborations at St Albans Museums
