Artefacts, 2019, wood

Architectural Planes, 2019, dyed textile

Amy Harman is an illustrator, designer and maker using unconventional techniques to create works which explore the concept of place through colour texture and form.

Observing architecture from various angles, Harman creates unique impressions and colours for each of the urban environments she investigates. Printing these illustrated responses to place, one after another without interruption, Architectural Planes guides the viewer through their own journey of each city.
