Thanks to Motor Fuel Group we are able to offer financial support towards the cost of coach travel for a limited number of schools to visit Verulamium Museum this year.
Applications for 2025-2026 are now closed.
We know that the costs associated with booking a school trip, particularly of arranging travel, prevent some schools from giving their students the opportunity to experience a museum visit.
We are very fortunate to have received funding from Motor Fuel Group. This allows us to offer assistance with the cost of coach travel to Verulamium Museum of up to £450 for a limited number of schools between September 2025 and March 2026.
Priority will be given to schools where more than 30% of pupils are in receipt of Pupil Premium funding and to those who haven't visited us in the past two years.
Applications for funding must be submitted by Friday 19th September 2025.
Schools will be notified if they have been successful by Friday 26th September and visits will need to be made before the end of March 2026.
The school will need to pay the costs of museum admission and school workshop, as well as any coach fees in excess of the £450.
Should your application be unsuccessful, we will keep your details for up to 12 months so we can contact you if further funding or opportunities become available.
