On Monday 1st June we're hosting another day especially for home educating families. 

Activities will once again include a small group activity led by one of our team, an opportunity to handle genuine historical artefacts, a craft, dressing up and a museum trail to help you explore. 

The focus for the day will be an Introduction to Archaeology and Life in Roman Verulamium. Choose either the morning or the afternoon session and take part in - 

  • Artefact investigation – small group activity of 20-30 minutes led by one of our museum team
  • Choice of museum trails to help you explore the galleries
  • Roman themed craft activities
  • Dressing up

Spaces are limited for each session. Ticket price includes museum entrance and all activities, including use of the lunchroom.

Activities are mainly suitable for children up to age 11
