Join us in the spooky ruins of Sopwell Nunnery for a unique storytelling performance exploring magic, myth and legend.
Professional storyteller Olivia Armstrong will reimagine tales of fairies, werewolves and the Green Lady of Hertfordshire for a family audience.
These original stories have been inspired by the research of academics such as Dr Sam George, Dr Kaja Franck and Dr Ceri Houlbrook.
This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 6–15 November 2025. Being Human is led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
