Built in 1831 and now restored to its former glory, this elegant Georgian landmark can add its own beauty to your celebration. From the timeless elegance of the Georgian Assembly Room, with its brilliant chandeliers and lustrous gold leaf, to the unique, octagonal-shaped Victorian Courtroom, these beautifully preserved spaces and gracious staircase create a stunning backdrop to enhance any occasion. 

The Museum + Gallery is perfectly situated in the heart of St Albans, making it an ideal location for any guests travelling to celebrate with you. The city affords excellent transport links from London and the Home Counties and offers a range of hotel options for those guests from farther afield.

  • Additional hours (until midnight) £300
  • Additional hours (from 12- 1am) £500

Events must allow for an additional 1-hour set-up / take-down either side of the booking:

  • After midnight £500

Courtroom

The Courtroom can accommodate up to 70 guests for a champagne reception, or 60 guests for a seated wedding breakfast.

  • Minimum booking of 2 hours £700
  • Additional hours (until midnight) £250
  • Additional hours (from 12- 1am) £500

Events must allow for an additional 1-hour set-up / take-down either side of the booking:

  • Before midnight £250
  • After midnight £500

All prices are plus VAT at 20%.

After 6pm, an additional security fee will be applicable for all bookings. This fee will be dependent on number of attendees and the space(s) booked for the event.
