Visit St Albans Museum + Gallery and Verulamium Museum this October Half Term for activities and events for all the family!
Both Museums have family activities every day including Museum explorer trails, dressing up, giant jigsaws and more.
St Albans Museum + Gallery is free entry and open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday + Sunday 9am-5pm.
Verulamium Museum is open every day Monday-Sunday 10am-4pm with an annual pass included with every entry ticket.
St Albans Museum + Gallery
Art and craft workshops for families:
- Tuesday 27th October | Family Craft Workshop: Bag Decorating
- Decorate a unique and personal drawstring bag
- Wednesday 28th October | Family Workshop: Still Life
- Arrange your own composition and draw using a selection of art materials
- Thursday 29th October | Family Craft Workshop: Mask Making
- Craft a disguise for fun or for Halloween

Verulamium Museum
- Monday 26th October | Family Craft Workshop: Mosaic Making Workshop
- Create your own mosaic with local artist Audrey from Montet Designs
- Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th October| Archaeology for Families
- Learn how archaeologists record what they find in the ground by analysing genuine finds.

For Hertfordshire families who receive free school meals you can apply for the Herts Card for £1 entry to Verulamium Museum (and many other Hertfordshire attractions) during school holidays.
All paid admission tickets to Verulamium Museum now include an Annual Pass.
At both museums you can pick up trails, try artefact handling and dressing up and for younger visitors there are explorer buckets.
