Visit St Albans Museum + Gallery and Verulamium Museum over the Easter Holidays for activities and events for all the family!

At Verulamium Museum we're excited to be welcoming back Audrey from Montet Designs on Monday 30th March for a morning of Easter themed mosaic workshops which can be booked in advance using the link.

Also at Verulamium Museum, on Tuesday 31st March and Wednesday 1st April we're holding our regular mornings of Archaeology for Families which are included with entry and not bookable in advance.

Over at St Albans Museum + Gallery the following week we have two art and craft workshops for families: in Old Fashioned Toys children will be shown how to make a couple of traditional toys then have the chance to experiment with the craft resources to come up with their own ideas, and in Inn Sign Art there'll be an opportunity to try out a range of different art materials and drawing objects from still life as they design their own traditional sign.

Bookable activities can be booked in advance using the links.

At both museums you can pick up trails, try artefact handling and dressing up and for younger visitors there are explorer buckets.

And don't forget we also have our regular programme for families:

For under 5s there's Messy Monday Mornings and Museum Minis at St Albans Museum + Gallery and Tots Tales at Verulamium Museum.

For families with children aged 5-11 our Sunday Crafternoons at St Albans Museum + Gallery.

We look forward to welcoming you during the Easter Holidays!
