Inclusive Salary Up To £20,718 - £22,374 per year pro rata

St Albans Museums are seeking two new Visitor Services Assistants. Both will be customer service roles, however one will be based at Verulamium Museum and the other in St Albans Museum & Gallery. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in the front-of-house, gallery and shop areas. You will assist in ensuring all visitors have an enjoyable, educational and safe visit to the museums.
Applicants must be able to work these same days every week, including the weekend day.
The candidate must excel at engaging with people and have previous face-to-face customer service experience. Ideally candidates will have retail experience too. We’re looking for team players who can deliver excellent visitor experiences and the highest level of customer service. Previous experience of working within a culture and heritage environment is essential. You must be friendly, professional, able to thrive working directly with the public and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our customers have a fantastic visit.
